Hey there! I’m Chelsea- the founder and creator of Brigid.

I’m assuming you’re reading this section because you want to
know Brigid’s birth story. I’d love to tell you!

Brigid was born out of, well, darkness and frustration.

Let me explain…

When my son was just shy of 6 months old, I was diagnosed
with Postpartum Depression and Anxiety.

I struggled immensely with trying to find myself again.

Both my body and mind needed care and concern but I didn’t
have the time, energy, or financial resources to seek luxurious self-care
experiences (and when you have anxiety, you usually don’t want to leave your
baby).  

I searched high and low for a self-care experience in-a-box that
was tailored towards new moms, but all I found was subscription boxes for pads
and mesh underwear (nothing wrong with that, but the hospital stocked me up
with plenty of those).

When I did find some version of what I was looking for, the
products were FULL of ingredients I didn’t really want around my baby and his
precious little lungs and skin.  

So, at a very chaotic time in my life while I was juggling
graduate school and being a first-time mom in the middle of a global pandemic,
I decided this was the PERFECT time to create what I couldn’t find for myself.

And thus, Brigid was born. A very messy, non-traditional
business birth story.  

The Brigid Box is a luxury gift box with 9 products each
serving an immense purpose to balance both mind and body post-birth.

Staying true to my original intentions, I formulated
products with herbalists and aromatherapists that were responsible and safe to
be around tiny little humans too! Absolutely ZERO chemicals, preservatives,
dyes, fragrances, parabens, all naturally and ethically sourced ingredients.

Brigid is a positivity and self-care product line made by a
mom, for moms.

Motherhood is beautiful and heartbreaking and messy and
joyful.
